Welcome to PFLAG Everett

UPCOMING EVENTS

We are excited to announce that Everett-Snohomish PFLAG will be making some key organizational shifts between now and early 2025 that will significantly increase our capacity to serve community.

We are expanding our board and will be hiring our first Executive Director in the spring. In order to focus on these shifts, we will pause the support group meetings until the beginning of 2025. We do not take this pause lightly. We know our community has come to rely on these groups. Once we relaunch we will be in a better position to sustain and expand our impact.

We’re also excited to announce the recent election of our new Board President, local artist, blogger and trans rights activist, Jesse Jorstad. Jesse brings over 15 years of experience working in homeless housing policy work, including competing for and awarding funding, with local, state and federal governments. He has a reputation for leveraging data to inspire action and measuring impact to address housing needs and inequities built into homeless housing systems. Jesse has been a dedicated volunteer working with our youth support group (globeyouth.com) and Links & Alliances Youth Conference since 2018.

The board extends our deepest thanks to Tonia King for her leadership as board president the last several years. We look forward to a transformative year to meet our community’s needs.
